Fantasia on British Sea Songs
Die "Fantasia on British Sea Songs" von Sir Henry Wood, entstand im Jahr 1905 zur 100-Jahr Feier der Schlacht von Trafalgar. Das Werk bildet auch den jährlichen "patriotic" Höhepunkt der "Last Night of the Proms" in der Londoner Royal Albert Hall.

Die sechs eröffnenden Bugle Calls greifen traditionelle Signale auf, betitelt Admiral’s salute, Action, General Assembly, Landing Party, Prepare to Ram und Quick, Double, Extend and Close.

Sir Henry Wood's "Fantasia on British Sea Songs" was written in 1905 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The work also forms the annual "patriotic" highlight of the "Last Night of the Proms" at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The six opening Bugle Calls take up traditional signals, titled Admiral's salute, Action, General Assembly, Landing Party, Prepare to Ram and Quick, Double, Extend and Close.
